Rite Aid reports sales decrease for September

Rite Aid Corp., Camp Hill, Pa., announced for the four weeks ended Sept. 26, 2009, same store sales decreased 0.3 percent over the prior-year period. Front-end same store sales decreased 2.3 percent while pharmacy same store sales increased 0.7 percent.
