Stop the dust
This has to be seen to be believed – or not seen, more correctly. Dust-Shield is an optical quality disposable filter which fits in the mirror chamber of DSLR cameras, preventing dust from entering when the lens is changed.
Dust-Aid says the filter has the highest light transmittance possible, allowing unobstructed autofocusing and image capturing.
The product, distributed by OmegaSatter, Hampstead, Md., can be removed by applying an adhesive tab on its center and gently pulling up. It’s held in place with removable, non-residue adhesive.
The first Dust-Shield is made for the Canon 5D and 5Dm2. Others are to be released periodically.
