Lexmark reports fourth quarter increase, full year decline
Lexmark International Inc., Lexington, Ky., announced for the fourth quarter 2009 revenue of $1.07 billion, an increase of 12 percent sequentially compared to the third quarter of 2009 and a decreased of 1 percent compared to the same quarter last year.
Net earnings for the quarter were $60 million compared to fourth quarter 2008 net earnings of $18 million.
For the full year 2009, revenue was $3.88 billion, down 14 percent compared to 2008. Printing Solutions and Services Division revenue for 2009 declined 12 percent to $2.62 billion, and Imaging Solutions Division revenue declined 19 percent to $1.26 billion.
