Pentax Imaging Co., Golden, Colo., announced a $50 Instant Rebate Program effective until Feb. 15, 2010 on K-x kit configurations. The Pentax K-x features 12 megapixels, the Pentax Prime II engine processor, HD Video, Live View and Shake Reduction working with every PENTAX lens ever produced. Consumers who purchase these K-x kits during this time period will benefit from instant savings on regular MAP/estimated retail pricing as follows:

K-x w/18-55mm and 50-200mm Lens Kit, MAP of $749.95, minus $50.00, now $699.95
K-x w/18-55mm and 55-300mm Lens Kit, MAP of $849.95, minues $50.00, now $799.95
The instant rebates are valid only for a limited time for purchases made on the listed camera configurations from Feb. 7 – Feb. 15, 2010. All K-x camera colors qualify for the instant rebate.
