“The Gadget Scientist Guide to Using your Digital Camera” is a new book available for resale, covering basic tips and tricks for consumers to learn the basics of point-and-shoot and DSLR cameras.

The pocket-sized, 216-page book has hundreds of full-color illustrations and photos. Among the lessons tips to identify the buttons, dials and settings on a camera, taking better pictures in “auto” mode, using advanced settings and fixing common photo mistakes.

The Gadget Scientist supports Mibila Village Clinic, a project to provide primary healthcare and clean water to approximately 5,000 people in rural Zambia. The clinic provides pre- and postnatal care, immunizations, mosquito nets to help prevent malaria, education programs and other medical services.
