Canada’s 36Pix, Montreal, Quebec, which provides green screen and turnkey business support solutions for the photography industry, has announced the GSI Analyzer, which measures image and photo setup quality for free. Photographers can upload their test images to the GSI Analyzer on the 36Pix website and receive a comprehensive report evaluating the image on seven different criteria, highlighting problems and offering corresponding solutions.
The wrong green screen camera and photo setups can lead to severe problems like green spill, shadows and halos around the subject, which make removing the background much more difficult and time consuming.
“We want to help photographers optimize their green screen images,“ explains Robert Ste-Marie, president. “After we created our free Photo Setup Guide we saw a need for a tool that analyzes each photographer’s setup.”
