In September, Canon Canada Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, had been at the top of the Canadian digital still camera market for 100 consecutive months, says the company. This was confirmed by NPD Canada Group, a leading Canadian market research company.

To celebrate and thank all imaging fans across the country, Canon Canada has announced “attractive” holiday pricing on many of its PowerShot models. In addition, the company has launched a new online promotion where visitors will have the opportunity to instantly win one of 100 PowerShot SD1300 IS digital cameras. Participants will also have a chance to win one of five PowerShot G12 digital camera grand prizes. The contest launched here on Wednesday.
