Learn photography from an iPad app

Photography education and gaming site PhoozL has developed an iPad version of its “PhoozL IQ,” billed as “a fun, quiz-type game that allows photo enthusiasts of all levels to test their photo knowledge while learning more about photography.”

PhoozL IQ features quizzes with 10 shuffled questions, graphics, sounds, and music. Questions cover topics such as cameras, composition, lighting, image editing, printing, and photography history. Every question offers alternative answers, hints, and factoids for additional learning.

The questions were developed with input from some of the most accomplished professional photographers and photo educators around the world, the company says.

The basic version is free; the full one with 100 questions is $2.
