The new, Wi-Fi enabled SELPHY CP900 Compact Photo Printer from Canon USA allows consumers to browse and unlock images stored on any computer connected to the same wireless network. Users with compatible Android and Apple smartphones and tablets can utilize the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint mobile app to print stored images wirelessly to the SELPHY printer.
In addition, Canon says its PIXMA MG4220 and MG3220 Wireless All-In-One inkjet printers will support AirPrint wireless printing for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. AirPrint allows users to wirelessly print photos, email, web pages and documents without installing device drivers. AirPrint works with iPhone (3GS and later), iPad and iPod touch devices (3rd generation and later) and requires iOS 4.2 or later.
