onOne Software lowers prices for DSLR camera remote

onOne Software Inc. announced new lower prices for the DSLR Camera Remote v1.4.3. The DSLR Camera Remote Pro for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available from the iTunes App Store for US$9.99, and the DSLR Camera Remote HD for iPad will be available for US$24.99.

The DSLR Camera Remote allows photographers to preview their shot in their camera’s live view, remotely trigger the shutter of their Canon or Nikon DSLR camera, adjust common camera controls—such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance—and review images, all with an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad via a Wi-Fi enabled computer.  With video-enabled cameras, users can start, monitor, and stop video recording with their iOS device. These capabilities give photographers greater creative and functional freedom as they are able to move from behind the camera to interact with subjects, be a part of the image themselves, and compose and fire a shot even when seeing through the viewfinder is difficult.

For those who wish to try the essential features of the app before purchasing, DSLR Camera Remote Free Edition offers the ability to release the camera’s shutter from an iOS device.

After installing any of the editions from the iTunes App Store, users will need to download a free server application that runs on their supported Macintosh or Windows computer. This free server application is required to enable communication between the iOS device and supported Canon or Nikon DSLR camera connected with a Wi-Fi enabled computer via USB or Firewire.
