SmartShoot site serves shooters, sellers

A new service now in beta, SmartShoot, aims to streamline anyone’s search for a professional photographer or videographer — and serve as the site for shooters to market themselves to potential customers.

“For professional filmmakers and photographers,” the company says, “SmartShoot offers access to guaranteed paid gigs, a diverse assortment of shoots and productions and online screening rooms, photo preview tools and project management software to help you manage your projects.”

The San Francisco company says is offers a marketplace “that connects customers with the best local filmmakers and photographers, bringing the power of professional photos and videos to everyone.”

Billed as a “professional filmmaker and photographer crowd sourcing platform,” the service matches shoots and video productions to a network of “ranked, rated, and vetted professional photographers and filmmakers who pitch for your business.”

Though still just starting, the company claims it’s already “delivered tens of thousands of photography and video productions for individuals and businesses.”
