JVC shoots 600 (!) frames per second

With the $1,000 Procision GC-PX100, JVC has set a low price for a super-fast 1080 HD video camera, “to capture high-quality video of fast-moving action.”

The full-speed 600 frames per second is at a reduced resolution  of course. The camera has a 12-megapixel BSI sensor, and also captures still shots at 9fps. It has a fast F/1.2 lens that zooms 10x, and a 3-inch tilting LCD.

Also, built-in WiFi will send video to a smartphone or tablet. A free app from JVC will play back two video clips side-by-side for comparison.
