Sony beautifies five Cyber-shots

 

A new “Beauty Effect” on Sony’s latest compacts provides post-shooting re-touch options including skin toning and smoothing, teeth whitening, eye widening and shine removal.

The WX80 is a 16-megapixel model with an 8x zoom, WiFi, and 1080i video, for $200. The similar W730 has a CCD instead of CMOS and so takes 720p HD, for $140. The W710 has a shorter 5x zoom, and is $100.

The TF1 is a tough 16MP camera that is waterproof down to 33 feet, as well as dustproof, shockproof and freeze proof. It has a 4x lens, and is $200.

The H200 has a 26x optical zoom, with a 20-megapixel CCD and 3-inch LCD, for $250.
