PPFA Installs 2013 Board of Directors

John Pruitt, CPF, is the new president of the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA).

The Professional Picture Framers Association named John Pruitt as its new president.

Pruitt is a Certified Picture Framer and co-founder of The Frameworks in Carrollton, Texas. He succeeds Ron Mason, CPF, of Ron Mason’s Gallery One in Iowa City, Iowa. Mason assumes the role of immediate past president.

The association installed its  2013 board of directors on January 27, during the PPFA 2013 Annual Convention at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.

Also elected were Stuart Altschuler, Prestige Framing Academy, Naples, Fla., as vice president; and Robin Gentry, B&J Gallery, Bowling Green, Ky., as treasurer. William Parker, MCPF, will serve as past president.

Serving as directors are: Cliff Wilson, MCPF, Framed In Tatnuck, Worcester, Mass.; David Lantrip, MCPF, Franchise Concepts Inc., St. Louis, Mo.; Joyce Michels, MCPF, Michels Frames & Things, Saint Robert, Mo.; Carol Graham, FrameReady/SoftTouch Solutions Inc., Petrolia, Ontario, Canada; Michael Drury, CPF, South Hill Gallery, Lexington, Ky.; and Jared Davis, Megawood Larson-Juhl Australia and GUNNAR International. Jim Esp, Executive Director of PMA, Jackson, Mich., holds the office of secretary.

PPFA honored outgoing board members Ken Link, CPF; George Alvarez, MCPF; Rob Clark; and Julius Shultz. Also during the meeting, Service Award recipients were honored.
