Manfrotto frees compact tripod

Okay, no it’s not free… It’s called the “BeFree” as in you’ll feel free of the excess weight of a heavier old tripod.

Manfrotto says its tripod is “dedicated to photographers who love to travel” and is “light, compact, and intuitive to use.” It’s made from aluminum, with a new ballhead. It weighs 3 pounds, and holds 8.8 pounds. It folds to 15.7 inches. The BeFree comes with a shoulder bag, and is $200.
