  1. The number of cores and threads: The Ryzen 5 3600X has a total of 8 cores with 16 threads. On the other hand, the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X has a total of 12 cores with 24 threads. Having more cores can help you to improve overall performance as it allows you to multi-task and run multiple applications simultaneously.
  2. Clock speed: The AMD Ryzen 5 3600X is clocked at 3.6 GHz while the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X is clocked at 3.9 GHz.
